How to use nuirumi: hats and glasses for your plush

nuirumi is a camera app for taking photos and videos of your plush with virtual hats and glasses. Point the camera at your plush and choose an accessory. It appears on the recognized face. Some accessories also let you change their color.

Bring your plush into view

Start in a well-lit spot with your plush facing the camera. Keep its face visible.

Choose a hat or glasses

Selected accessories appear on the recognized face. Try different combinations and supported colors.

Take a photo or video

Check the placement in the preview, then capture your look at home or while out together.

Keep the face well lit and try accessory colors that coordinate with the plush’s physical outfit.

Keep the face and setting in view

Start near a window or in another spot with soft light on the face. Keep the eyes clearly visible rather than including too much background. Check accessory placement in the preview as you adjust the composition.

Add one accessory to a physical outfit

Hats and glasses are virtual accessories. Keep the real outfit on your plush and choose a coordinating color. Start with one accessory so the face and hairstyle remain visible. In the seaside example, Lumi pairs a blue outfit with a straw hat and sunglasses.

Check the accessories before you shoot

Hats and glasses appear on your plush’s face in the camera preview. Adjust the angle or try another accessory before taking the photo. You can also record video with the accessories attached.
