nuirumi FAQ and supported phones

Answers about nuirumi photos, videos, face recognition, supported phones and downloads.

What is nuirumi?

A camera app that adds on-screen hats, glasses and other accessories to your real plush toy while you take photos or videos.

Can I record video?

Yes. You can capture both photos and videos with accessories attached.

Can I change accessory colors?

Some accessories support color changes, so you can coordinate them with your plush and its physical outfit.

Does it work with every plush?

It supports a variety of plush faces, but recognition is not guaranteed for every shape or condition. Covered faces and low light may make recognition difficult.

What if my plush is not recognized?

Try a brighter location and a front-facing view. Keep the eyes clear of hair, hands and accessories, and adjust the distance or angle slightly.

Where can I check pricing?

Check the current App Store or Google Play listing and the app for pricing and any in-app purchases.

Which phones are supported?

iOS 17 or later on iPhone XS / XR and newer, and Android 10 or later. Some Android devices may not meet memory or other installation requirements.

Where can I download it?

Use the App Store or Google Play links. Availability varies by country or region.
